The Lodging:
The Lazy Hour Bonefish Lodge offers great salt water flats fishing, deluxe accommodations (all rooms have AC), five-star, fabulous food, and is a warm, family run, accommodating atmosphere. This ocean front Lodge, sits on the west side of Long Island, on a private bay with your own private deck and waterfront views from every location. Long Island is the sixth southern most Island of the Bahamas , and is in a remote location, located far enough to the south in the Bahamas chain, it offers some of the best and most consistent weather in the Bahamas year-round.

It is a four-minute drive from Deadman’s Key airport to the lodge, a thirty-step walk from your room to your flats skiff, and a five-minute boat ride to the first wading flat. The Deadman’s Key area offers some of the best and most wade-able flats in the Bahamas (without booties), with more than ample flats to fish from the boat platform.

Target Species:
Bonefish – you’ll have shots at large schools of 2 -4 pound bones, plenty of chances at singles, doubles and small schools of 5 -9 pound bonefish, and chances at double digit bonefish.

Secondary Species: 

Permit, Tarpon, Shark, Barracuda, Jacks

The Boats:
4 brand new flats skiffs. The skiffs are docked right at the lodge. It is a 30 second walk from your room to your boat and guide. It is only a 5 minute boat ride from the dock to the closest flats that can be waded or fished from the boat.

Ground Transfer to Lodge:
Ground transfer from Deadmans Cay Airport, Long Island is included in the trip price. It is a 10 minute car ride from the airport to the Lodge.
